The umbrella term for digital Hindu wedding invitations

Hindu wedding cards online

Multi-event Hindu wedding cards covering north, south, and pan-regional families.

'Hindu wedding card' is the umbrella term for the digital invitation that holds the multi-day Hindu wedding sequence on one URL. Zawaaj's Hindu preset covers north Indian, south Indian, and pan-Hindu traditions — sangeet, haldi, mehndi, baraat, pheras, reception, plus region-specific events like roka, tilak, nichayathartham, and muhurtham. The default register opens with ॐ श्री गणेशाय नमः, defaults the verse to the Mangalashtaka, and closes on शुभं भवतु मङ्गलं भवतु. Marigold Mandala is the default template — crimson and saffron on warm cream, with lotus mandala motifs.

Questions

What people ask

Does it handle both arranged and love-marriage formats?
Yes. The format is the same — multi-event card, per-guest URL. The difference (if any) lives in the host's wording on the events themselves (e.g., the roka event for arranged-marriage families, or skipping roka entirely for love-marriage couples).
Are inter-regional Hindu weddings handled?
Yes. The Hindu preset without a region set offers the full pan-Hindu event list; hosts can add both north and south Indian events on the same invitation. Mixed-region couples typically pick the generic option.
Is the Tithi (lunar date) displayed?
Not yet — Gregorian date is the displayed date today. Tithi support is a roadmap item; the schema field exists but the calendar utility is pending.
